Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

A few features of AutoCAD are explained in the video below. A brief introduction to AutoCAD is also included.
In this article, we will explain how to work with drawings with names in AutoCAD.
Automatically naming drawings in AutoCAD
AutoCAD’s drawing numbering system is somewhat limited. Drawings in a drawing set may be numbered from 1 to a maximum number of 100 drawings. If you wish to number more drawings than that, it will be necessary to use a scripting technique to do so.
For example, if you have a set of drawings called “2008” and numbering from 1 to 100, you will need to create a drawing with name “2009” and number it from 200 to 201. It would be a simple process of deleting the existing drawing called 2008 and renaming the new drawing to 2009 and then numbering it 201.
An alternative way to add additional drawings to an existing drawing set is to use a technique called “Synchronize Set”. A synchronization is a process of copying one or more drawings to another drawing set or drawing library. In this way, you can create a new set of drawings with a name that can be used as a reference to the original set of drawings.
Synchronize drawings in AutoCAD using command menus
AutoCAD’s command menus provide a simple way of creating a new set of drawings. A new drawing will be created and saved in a different set called “2009”.
From the drawing manager, you can select a set of existing drawings called “2008”, and select the “Synchronize Drawings” option.
When you have the drawings listed in the left window, you can select the drawing of your choice from the right window. You can also deselect any of the drawing. Once selected, a copy of the selected drawing will be copied to the other set of drawings called “2009”.
If the first drawing is selected, it will be created with the same number as that of the other set of drawings.
Naming drawings in AutoCAD
If you wish to work with drawings with names, you must create a drawing using a command menu. For example, the command menus have a “Named drawing” option.
To create a named drawing, follow the steps below:

AutoCAD Free Download supports an integrated application of the three-dimensional modeling and design of the drawings. It uses DWG and DXF to produce specifications and three-dimensional design. AutoCAD supports 3D modeling with its function panel and supports major 3D design applications that are:
CADsoft (formerly GSI Software Inc.) AutoCAD Map 3D
Autodesk 3ds Max – 3D modeling and animation
Autodesk 3ds Max – rendering
Autodesk Revit – architectural model based on Revit Architecture, 3D modeling and rendering
Autodesk SketchBook Pro – digital rendering
Autodesk Inventor – 3D modeler, virtual prototyping tool
Autodesk InterProject – project management for Autodesk® Inventor® and Autodesk® Revit®
Autodesk Navisworks – AutoCAD Map 3D and Navisworks have been combined into Autodesk Navisworks 360.
Autodesk Softimage XSI – 3D rendering
AutoCAD Map 3D for Autodesk® Inventor®
Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D
Autodesk® Navisworks® 360
AutoCAD Map 3D is AutoCAD’s 3D modeler, that allows creating detailed 3D models of building, roads and other topological features. These models are defined by building blocks of 3D geometry that can be re-used across multiple projects or layers. The building blocks can be visualized in the drawing window or saved to a file.
Aspects of the 3D designer are:
Create complex 3D topologies of buildings or other objects
Maintain modeling data in 3D
Create 3D visuals
Create, import and export stereoscopy for visualization
Design 3D models that represent entire buildings or specific areas
3D objects can be represented by simple or complex polyline paths (tracks). The tracks can be extended and the connection of two objects can be deleted. A simple track can be repositioned or dragged and rotated. A complex track can be combined with other tracks to form larger objects.
AutoCAD supports the setting of the 3D transformation, including rotation, translation, scale, and in the past, the perspective. The 3D tool also supports an array of basic 3D models such as box, pyramid, cone, cylinder, sphere, plane and tube, as well as the insertion of solid

Autodesk AliasFreeThe end to the post-natal blood transfusion?
This paper provides the rationale for the current Blood Transfusion Committee’s advice on the use of blood and plasma components in non-transfusion settings. Adherence to the Committee’s advice will avoid the substantial risks associated with transfusion in pregnancy, including potential complications to the newborn, and should prevent the unnecessary use of blood and plasma components. For the same reasons the Committee is supportive of the’milk-prescription’ policy in the UK, the Committee has recommended that the policy should be formally adopted by the NHS. It has suggested that milk-prescription in hospital should be available to all mothers, and that a suitable milk-prescription referral pathway should be available to all mothers in the community.Prevention of postsurgical wound infections by glucose-insulin-potassium therapy after open-heart surgery.
